That Wasiu Ayinde Marshal otherwise known as K1 De Ultimate has impregnated his former wife’s niece, Titi Masha has been a story on the lips of all and sundry recently but what you are about to read is the love lost between her parents and siblings.
Recently, K1 was said to have organised a baby shower for the expectant mother in Lagos, an event that was said to have left a few of their friends amazed.
Her parents were said to be the worst hit by this startling revelation. Mum is the word, from their end. Her mother, Mosun Masha, is alleged to have severed communication with her at the moment, while her siblings have also kept their distance from her. And while K1’s fans and friends were still absorbing this news, a baby shower was held on Friday, October 19, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
It was gathered that K1 had wanted to cancel the party when the scandal broke out, but Titi pleaded with him that she had gone headlong in the preparation. Eventually, he agreed but gave a proviso that pictures would not be taken at the party.
To prove the severity of his warning, K1 was reported to have stayed at the party venue and kept a close watch on the guests. He was alleged to have threatened to smash any camera or phone that could be used to capture the event. This was said not to have gone down well with Titi, and she sulked and complained to her friends throughout the party. The pretty lady’s hope of keeping the memory of the event stored in pictures and video was deflated.

London Met Police Confirms Arrest of Oyo Gov's Wife, Florence Ajimobi, For Money Laundering!

London Metropolitan Police has confirmed the arrest of Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, wife of Oyo state Governor, over  money laundering.
The Met confirmation came this afternoon following an enquiry by P.M.NEWS on the story making the rounds that Mrs. Ajimobi was arrested in London, with the sum of 400,000 pounds and thousands of US dollars, valued at N500million.
The Met simply said ‘Yes’ to our question, seeking confirmation about the arrest.
However, the organization declined to give further information about the matter, citing a UK law.
“I am sorry, we are unable to disclose any information to you under the Data Protection Act,” an officer in the MET Lambeth Office responded.
There was anxiety in the government circles of Nigeria’s Oyo State  this morning over the arrest of Mrs. Ajimobi.
Reports on the web and some blogs claimed that the woman was arrested two weeks ago by the London Metropolitan Police on her 52nd trip to the UK since her husband became governor 17 months ago.

Adewale Ayuba was NEVER beaten Up In Ibadan

I write to react to the story captioned "Adewale Ayuba Beaten-up For Arriving Late At Performance Venue" which was carried by Osun Defender and other Nigeria blogs and online media.I write to put the record straight because I was a witness to the whole "drama".
The occasion was the Final Burial ceremony of Pa Olatubosun Makinde of Aigbofa Compound Oja Oba Ibadan, who slept in the Lord on 6th July, 2012. Pa Makinde was the father of Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, the GMD of Makon Engineering and Technical Services and a PDP chieftain in Oyo State.After the burial service at the Cathedral of St. Peters, Aremo, Ibadan on Friday, 26th October, 2012, the reception was fixed for 2:00pm at the Ibadan Recreation Club, Sabo. Gbenga Adeyinka D 1st was engaged as the compere of the day while Adewale Ayuba was the billed to take the stage as the musician.
By 2:45pm, Gbenga had mounted the stage dishing out one joke after the other to the delight of the invited guests, including the former governor of Oyo state, Chief Rashid Ladoja, and the political big wigs of PDP extradition in Oyo State.As in any Yoruba "owanbe", everyone expected Ayuba to mount the stage immediately after Adeyinka's performance. This was not the case! Instead, we continued to be treated to the announcement that: Ayuba was on the way.
Around 4:00pm when there seemed to be no sign of Ayuba, one of his band boys mounted the stage so as to fill the vacuum. Perhaps, that was the last straw that broke the camel's back. The guy did not only sing out of tune, he had one of the "baddest" voice in the world and his mastery of Ayuba song was next to nothing!After singing for about 30minutes, the "boys" could take it no longer. They surged forward, chased them out of the stage and threatened to destroy their instruments should they sing again. During all these melee, Gbenga Adeyinka was going around appealing to everyone who cared to listen. He was always working his phone, briefing Ayuba of the developments.
It will be appropriate to state here that while the boys were chasing away Ayuba's boys, one of the mobile policemen in mufti was manhandled. That was the mistake of the "boys" as the mobile policemen descended  on some of them to avenge the treatment meted on their colleague.At the end of the day, common sense took over and the two aggrieved parties (Area Boys and MOPOLS) buried the hatchet.
A local musician was later brought to hold forth for Ayuba. While I would like to admit here that the boy was indeed good and tried to impress the celebrants and the invited guests, nobody was ready to listen to him: all they wanted was Ayuba.At about 5:45pm, the most wanted arrived!
I had expected Ayuba to go straight to the celebrants, explain to them why he was late and apologised. Ayuba had a different approach! HE just mounted the stage and start his hello tue, hello tue.

To say I was disappointed will be an understatement. The "boys" also got infuriated. They demanded that he come down from the stage to come and and prostrate for coming late. Some of the boys surged forward to attack him but they were over-powered by  the Mopols who shielded him (Ayuba) and led him to the celebrants.

He explained to Engr. Seyi MAkinde, the host, about the Fuel Tanker Accident at Berger, retriating that he had to go through Abeokuta before he could make it to Ibadan. He thereafter removed his cap, bend down for the host, who later hugged him and told him to start the show.
Even though I was not the celebrant, I was highly disappointed by Ayuba's management of the 'crisis'. There were even insinuations that he might be coming from another performance. While I would not like to comment of this, I felt our celebrities need to respect the clients' right in this part of the world.During my conversation with Gbenga Adeyinka, I forgot to ask him how he was able to make it. If Adeyinka could make it, I do not see while Ayuba could not! Considering the amount they charge, I see nothing out of this world, in him getting to Ibadan on Thursday evening and passing the night there, that is if he has no other engagement.
I am also of the belief that Ayuba did not leave Lagos on time that day!. I was a victim of the same circumstance. I left Lagos around 9:00am. When I got to Otedola Estate and saw the hold-up, I made a u-turn and headed for Ikorodu axis. Even though the road was longer and very bad, I was able to make it to Ibadan after five hours. Most importantly, I could not imagine that a whole Ayuba will not have a band boy who would not only be able to sing but also sing Ayuba's song (as if he is the one. That guy that was holding forth for him was a no singer. Pure and Simple.
Permit me to end this tale-by-moonlight by commending  Gbenga Adeyinka d 1st for the matured way he managed the situation. He earned my respect that day. He was everywhere appealing to everybody while working his phone to monitor Ayuba's proigress. But for him, may be there wouldn't have been any need for me to write this piece.Ayuba would probably have been in Igbobi nursing his fractures...

Governor Suntai Survived Air crash, In Critical Condition-Secretary To The Taraba State Government

 
The secretary to the Taraba State government has said that Governor Dambaba Suntai of Taraba State was one of the survivors of an air crash at the Yola Airport in Adamawa State. Our earlier report  named the governor as one of the dead passengers in the small plane that was being piloted by Mr. Suntai at the time of the crash.
The secretary to the government of Taraba State confirmed that the governor survived the crash, but was in critical condition. The Secretary stated that the injured governor had been conveyed to a hospital in Yola.
Two of Mr. Suntai’s aides died when the plane crashed, SaharaReporters learnt. An eyewitness said there were five passengers in the small plane at the time of the accident. Mr. Suntai was piloting.
Eyewitnesses at the scene had earlier told Saharareporters that two persons survived the plane crash, you'll recall that there was a breaking news  last night that the Governor is dead.....weather this response is just to drowse to tension time will tell.

story that Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu is critically ill is no more
an issue. What is the boggling is the ailment she is suffering from.
Following E24-7 magazine’s report in our story, HELP! NGOZI NWOSU IS DYING,
published October1-7,2012, our office was inundated with several calls
from fans, spiritualists and curious readers but recently a more
shocking revelation on the true situation of the health of the once
robust and beautiful actress who has over the last two months gone into
recluse was disclosed.  The source who pleaded anonymity and was
formerly in the service of the Nigerian Medical Research Center, Yaba,
Lagos as a nurse hinted she’s HIV positive.

According to the source who was one of Ngozi`s medical counselors at the

will call an HIV positive patient. Her kidney problem is as a result of
her HIV complications. She used to visit the center on Wednesdays but we

is a stubborn patient. I used to advise her to stop drinking and
smoking as these habits won`t speed up her healing process fast. Worst
of all, she does not take her drugs righteously. When a patient with HIV
refuses to take recommended retro-viral drugs the person cannot get
better. That is her problem.

Mind you when she visited the center not quite before I left we found
out her DN4 was so low that we immediately raised an alarm and told her
to be cautious of her her health situations and advised her to do better
in taking her drugs as required.”

The source also revealed that some of Ngozi`s problem to her not getting well may be psychological,
“You see when a patient has a troubled love life like Ngozi things will
hardly get going for her. She is not a happy woman, having no husband
and child, so her thoughts will always be negative and that will cause
her more bad than good.

She needs to retrace her steps to finding her healing and that is if she
is not already a full AIDS patient.” Currently, Ngozi has kept away
from public glare while some of her friends and movie colleagues are
seeking financial assistance for her treatment. There
are indications she has moved to neighbouring Cotonou, Benin Republic
where her former husband comes from as her aides and handlers claimed
during enquiry on phone. More troubling, are Ngozi`s recent pictures
where she looks gaunt and pale. She has since neglected public functions
and stopped appearing at movie locations.

I have restrained myself for a couple of years from commenting on Tonto Dike’s career after my last comments about her role in the soft p*rn movie she acted in two years back, were badly taken by her and she went on twitter to hurl infantile insults on my person with expletives and uncomplimentary remarks. My reaction to such then was just a dignified silence. After all, I had already spoken on her stunted talent as an up and coming actress and further comments on her incensed tweets were unnecessary.
All through the past few hours, the social media networks have been abuzz with the new singles of actress, Tonto Dike. She seems to have joined the actors of her ilk who have the moonlighting itch to delve into singing. While no one can stop such an ambition by those artistes, I do think those who surround such artistes are their worst enemies if they can’t tell them the truth about leaving their sometimes doubtful day job. Well, I will! I listened to Miss Dike’s two singles a few minutes ago and my initial speechlessness morphed to a nagging laughter and then subsided into a befuddled anguish. I’m a music label owner (November Records) and have produced and Executive Produced acts like Majek Fashek, Terry tha Rapman, Zubby Enebeli etc. I know much about music and the slant of commercial music. But after listening to Miss Dike’s songs, I’m inclined to align with the majorly negative comments about them on cyberspace. Ah-ah! Whoever produced her knew she has a bad voice for singing and masked our listening torture with the Autotune effect. But even the Autotune rejected any attempt to make a bad voice worse and Miss Dike came out sounding like she was in mid-stream orgasm instead of singing! Her anguished tremolos would have been better reserved for a horror movie sound effect than an attempt at joining the revered profession of music. If Omotola got away with her last two terrible attempts at singing, it was because Omotola is a fantastic actress and her fans could forgive her musical failings after backtracking her body of work in Nollywood. With Tonto, I can’t say much either for her acting depth. She’s a one-dimensional actress in my opinion, who mistakes notoriety for fame. She needs more training in acting and this I say with all sense of professionalism as a movie Director. She might achieve greater heights in acting if she trains more. But she has no heights to achieve in singing. Only a downward plunge, the stuff bad endings in movies are made of.

St.Janet Caught Her Husband Sleeping With Her Daughter

These are indeed sad times for lewd female singer, Omotoyosi Kayode Iyun, popularly called St. Janet as her two-year oldmarriage is on the verge of crashing.

The highly sought-after live performer caused a big stir when she made a debut with her album entitled Faaji Plus. St. Janet was said to be happy at the opportunity of being reunited with her daughter who was before then staying with one of her relations.

Unfortunately, her joy soon turned into despair as rumours started making the rounds about an amorous relationship between her daughter and her husband. All doubts about her suspicion were cleared recently when she allegedly caught her husband making love to her daughter whose age was put around 16 right inside her matrimonial home.

Sources close to the musician told our correspondent that the despicable act had thrown St. Janet off-balance and dejected and swore never to forgive Kay as her husband is fondly called.

The development has forced the lewd singer to move out of her matrimonial home as she could not bear the shame which the incident had brought upon her.

It was also disclosed that St. Janet has temporarily moved to Esado Hotel within the neighbourhood to fend off contact with Kay.

After frantic efforts to speak with the lewd singer about the story failed, one of the musician’s close aides debunked the story and described it as mere rumour. “I can tell you categorically that the story is just a rumour perpetrated by the grapevines. Although, there was a little misunderstanding between them but the grudges have no connection with infidelity,” the aide who would not want his name mentioned in the print told our correspondent.

Armed robbers in some parts of Lagos State now disguise as beggars to rob their victims of valuables.
PUNCH Metro learnt that they usually pretend to be beggars and target mostly lone occupants of posh cars and dispossess them of their valuable items such as laptops, phones and money.

Ondo ACN Plans To Spend Fake Dollars On Election Day - Mimiko

Governor Olusegun Mimiko’s Campaign Organization [MCO] today alleged that the Action Congress of Nigeria [ACN] has perfected plans to rig the next week Saturday’s election by distributing fake dollars to the electorate in order to secure their votes.

The Mimiko campaign team alleged that the leadership of ACN has decided to embark on this criminal trick due to the fact that the party treasury is now empty.
A statement signed by its Director of Publicity, Mr. Olabisi Kolawole said the coming gubernatorial poll had now put all the ACN controlling States in a serious financial mess, following the huge amount of money already spent on its candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu.

It particularly pointed accusing fingers at Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola for wasting the state’s funds to finance the Ondo State election.
MCO also alleged that only last week, over N2billion was withdrawn from the State Government accounts in banks in Osogbo, the State capital while over N3billion was siphoned from Local Government accounts in Lagos State.

The statement reads, “Now that it has become glaring that the Ondo election would not be a push over owing to the huge popularity of Dr Olusegun Mimiko whose rating has continued to soar, the ACN leaders have in their desperation to bribe voters; bought at least 500 voters’ cards from each ward in the Ondo Central where Governor Mimiko comes from and where there is a high density of voters and pay other sundry expenses of those to be imported as thugs; pay fake Civil Defence corps members; fake Youth Corps members; fake policemen and army amongst others, they have resorted to use fake dollars.

“We are aware that fake dollars abound in the Oluwole area of Lagos where the leader of ACN grew up, they have decided to import tonnes of these fake dollars to pay those who would be bought over in their desperation’ as they would not know the difference, thus eating their cake and having it,”

Online sources say Gaga tossed her cookies, mid-song on stage in Barcelona on Saturday night at the Palau Sant Jordi arena. According to Buzzfeed, she was singing The Edge of Glory, the 23rd song of her regular 24-song set.

Nigeria First Lady's Trip Home Is Canceled

The highly anticipated return trip to Nigeria of the First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, has again been canceled by her hospital in Germany.
A source at the hospital said Mrs. Jonathan could not be discharged to leave today as was requested by her husband because there are still several unresolved issues concerning her health.
SaharaReporters was unable to determine what those issues are, but it seems obvious that her condition is still poor.  Only a few days ago, however, the presidency, through spokesman Reuben Abati, said she was in good health.
Commenting on a three-second video allegedly shot recently when her husband visited her, in which she was shown to be well-dressed, he said, “You can see that the setting does not resemble that of a hospital. She is hale and hearty.”
Her doctors evidently do not share that view, and no new date has been given as to when Mrs. Jonathan, who is also a Permanent Secretary in Bayelsa State, will leave Germany.  She has now been away for six weeks.

10 Sentenced For Hanging On Moving Train

                                                              
The Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja on Tuesday sentenced 10 people to 10 hours of community service each for hanging on coaches of the Mass Transit Train Service, the News Agency of Nigeria reports .

In her judgment, the magistrate, Mrs. I. O Omotosho, said the community service would be determined by the Lagos State Community Services Department.

The magistrate said she was lenient with the convicts because they had spent one week in custody since their arrest at Ikeja Train Station on October 3.

“I hope that this will serve as a deterrent to others,” she said.

The men faced a three-count charge of obstruction of justice, breach of peace and assaulting some policemen.

The prosecutor, Mr Tunde Sunmonu, had told the court that the convicts “rowdily hung on a train in motion and endangered their lives and those of others.

“When ASP Idris Muritala and Cpl. Azeez tried to arrest them, they assaulted them and injured the corporal,” he said.

Sunmonu said the offences contravened Section 27 of the Lagos State Environmental Law 2003 and 166 (2) and Section 171 of the Criminal Code Laws of Lagos State 2011.

The men, aged between 18 and 52, pleaded guilty.

They are Shobanjo Lateef, Bamishile Noah, Taofeek Abdulazeez, Uchenna Ikeh, Jimoh Ahmed and Ganiyu Adeyemi.

Others are Aderemi Adeboye, Ladipo Abiodun, Ifeanyi Uzor, Oriade Oladipupo and Oladele Olafare.

Speaking with the NAN after the judgment, Mrs. Asetayo Asagba, the spokesperson for the state Task Force on Miscellaneous Offences, said that the Railway Police Command had enlisted the assistance of the task force to tackle the menace.

The Railway Police Command recently requested for the partnership of the Lagos Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit on the patrol and protection of the railway tracks.

Sultry Actress, Ini Edo Loses Pregnancy?

According what Encomium magazine reported, Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has lost her pregnancy. Ini Edo's pregnancy has recently become a controversial issue when pictures of the talented actress taken at recent events she attends shows a 'table flat' tummy. This has made some people ask if she is still pregnant.

At most events Ini went to in recent times, she is pictured wearing a big belt around her stomach area, which raised further eyebrows. At the US launch of her fashion line and other events, she was so spotted.

Ini's pregnancy became more controversial when Mercy Johnson, who was also reported to have been pregnant almost the same time with Ini, flaunted her pregnancy recently.

"On Monday, October 8, 2012, we contacted the actress on phone on the issue and her personal assistant, Edward said, 'She is sleeping right now. I don’t know anything about her losing her pregnancy.

Man commits suicide at Port Harcourt Federal Secretariat

               

                     


A man in Port Harcourt loses the gusto to live and kills himself.
A middle aged man on Tuesday jumped from the eighth floor of the Federal Secretariat building in Port Harcourt, landed on the concrete floor below, crashed his head and died immediately.
It is not clear if the man worked at the complex or came there solely for the purpose of committing suicide.

Uniport shut down as students go on rampage setting houses in Aluu ablaze

Students of the University of Port Harcourt, went on the rampage Tuesday  protesting the murder of four of their colleagues by youths in Omuokiri-Aluucommunity  last Friday and set ablaze no fewer than 12 houses in the community even as the university has been shut down by the school authorities.
Spokesman of the university, Dr William Wordi confirmed the closure of the school to the Vanguard on phone.  He assured he was going to send an official statement.  It was yet to come at the time of this report.
Students from other institution under  the aegis of National Association of Nigeria Students, NANS, stormed the university  to mobilise  students in Port Harcourt to protest against the brutal killing of three of their colleagues and one other  by riotous youths in Omuokiri-Aluu community  last Friday.
The rampaging students blocked the East West road for several hours before allegedly marching to Omuokiri-Aluu community to start wrecking havoc. Community sources told the Vanguard that they torched about twelve houses.
Vanguard gathered that while the rampaging students were on the East West road, they reportedly insisted that they would only move out of the road after the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Joseph Ajienka had addressed them.  The Vice Chancellor reportedly obliged them after securing assurances that he would not be rough handled
Sources said while the Vice Chancellor came to plead with the students to shun any temptation to be violent some of the students immediately started hurling sachet water at him.
Vanguard gathered that it took the timely intervention of security operatives to whisk him away from the spot.  At press time, security operatives had been drafted to quell the situation.

Lagos bans number plates from other states

Lagos State Government on Wednesday said it would no longer allow the use of vehicles with number plates from other states of the federation for commercial transportation in the state.

It also advised residents with private vehicles to change to the state’s number plates to reflect the fact that they are living in Lagos.
The Director, Vehicle Inspection Office, Mr, Gbolahan Toriola, said the measure was meant to achieve “sanity, standard, safety and security” as stipulated by the road traffic law.
Toriola spoke at the vehicle inspection safety campaign organised by the Ministry of Transportation in conjunction with the Political and Legislative Bureau for commercial drivers in Ikeja.

He said, “There is nothing wrong in bringing commercial buses from other states. But if you must use it in Lagos, you have to change the colour and re-register it with us so that we have your information in our database
“This is a standard procedure. As a matter of fact, it you have lived in a state for about three months, you are no longer a visitor and therefore you must change your number plate to reflect the state. It is done in America and other developed nations.

hmmm I am of the oppinion that Mr Fashola should do it softly, the hardship that the ACN led Government has infiltrated on Lagosians is enough for them to deal with. it should not be about what you get from the masses without giving anything back in return, what is his justification for commercializing education in Lagos Lagos state? this is not what ACN promise Lagosians..let wait and see the reaction of our brothers from the north maybe they will bared Lagos nos from there territory as well.

Oh! this is one really weird news, our sources say it happened yesterday in ikeja. The man in the photo jumped down from his Range Rover and Ran Mad, within few minutes, People gathered at the scene and said he started displaying series of madness, pulls off his cloth, saying different un-relevant things..
Other sources say he is one of those so called ‘Yahoo Plus’ boys.. That do anything for cash.. And he was very rich… Hmmmmn..
Its clear that this is another case of spiritual attack.. *sigh* God Help Us.
