TONTO DIKEH REACTS TO ALLEGED ATTACK ON GENEVIEVE IN AN INTERVIEW

Many have reacted to an alleged interview published by a top national newspaper over the weekend on Tonto Dikeh's outburst on Genevieve Nnaji.

Excerpt from the interview reads, "If I keep waiting for an Igbo man, I will just end up like Genevieve Nnaji who is eternally single."

The above statement, purportedly said by the controversial actress has received hot reaction based on her attack on the queen of Nollywood, Genevieve.

In a reaction to the alleged interview, which has spread like harmmatan fire, Tonto reacted this way, "I have never and will never say anything against Genevieve. I will not even interfere in her personal issues. I did not grant such interview."

In a phone chat with us, her publicist denied any such statement from Tonto. The publicist said, "after her interview with you last year December, Tonto has only granted an interview with a soft-sell magazine, which was done about three months ago.

So, I don't know where that purported interview came from or when such was granted."

I guess many of you read the news, even COOLFM969 posted it on their Facebook page, though i got that so-called interview spreading at different entertainment website, blogs and pages yesterday but i didn't bother sharing it here cus i knew it was a manipulation plus it has no source. I think as press and bloggers we need to verify what we post.

The question now is, who is behind this alleged interview? Was the interview just an April Fool crank?
